Chester Arnold bio

Chester Arnold was born in Santa Monica and after graduating from the College of Marin in Kentfield, Connecticut, he received his MFA from San Francisco Art Institute in California. Among numerous awards, Arnold has received fellowship awards from the WESTAF/NEA Foundation Grant, the Milley Award, and the Fleishhacker Foundation Grant. Arnold was given a retrospective exhibition in 2010 at The Nevada Art Museum in Reno, Nevada and has shown at The San Jose Museum of Art, the Tacoma Art Museum, The Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, and most recently at the American University Art Museum for a comprehensive survey in 2013. His work can be found in numerous public and private collections nationally and internationally.
